After showing you my Warhammer I’ve decided to embark on another project I’m going to be building and painting Space Wolves, hopefully the army will be as big as my previous Guard army. Anyway what I’ll try and do is show some progress of painting of the models.

So i probably explain that i collect Warhammmer 40K it is a Sci Fi tabletop war game, using miniatures that each individual collects, builds and paints. This is my Imperial Guard Apocalypse sized Army, this was taken at my local Games Workshop store where they were celebrating the 25th birthday of the 40K range

How a 4 day weekend is part of my college timetable, it gives me time to chill out after I’ve done my work, not too mention I can wake up late, ponder the day ahead over breakfast and consider taking my dog for a walk. Of course there’s the added bonus of time for things like video games and reading or fulfilling the needs of other hobbies and interests

I really do procrastinate too much

I’ve been in the library for almost 45 minutes and don’t very little work, so far I’ve replied to emails, replied to someone on Facebook, looked at my Facebook news feed, decided Facebook is quite boring, checked my twitter feed, decided there are too many annoying pre-pubescent teenagers on twitter, watched a couple of videos on YouTube, listened to Guns and Roses and looked at one website for my assignment which is due in tomorrow

returned from skiing early sunday morning, then slowly spent my birthday realising what college work i need doing, i will try to put some photos on here once i figure out an easy way either to put up lots of photos at one time or work out how to post photo sets from Flickr or stop being lazy

classical music is so good

This is a recent epiphany of mine,  I started listening to classical music first thing in the morning because i figured it would be easier to wake up to, but there’s so much awesome stuff that comes in to the sphere of classical music. There seems to be a piece for every mood for the most part it’s great music to chill out to but there are loads of stuff that makes me feel happy and equal amounts that makes me reflective. It make me glad that i started listening to it because it seems to help me relax and calm down well most of it does there are a few really epic pieces that stir my imagination a bit and I start day dreaming while listening to the music about many things that I think are cool,  as if it’s the kind of music i would write to if I were a decent writer

Letter writing

So recently I’ve been getting involved in a few pen pals projects, this is partly because I wanted to learn about others perspectives without feeling like I had to rush things and partly because I wanted to improve my handwriting and writing skills, it’s also the reason I’ve started laying down the groundwork for a novel not that it’s much good as of yet but time will tell I guess. I also wrote a comedy script which got some good responses, admittedly all from friends but it’s a good start I guess. I love getting letters in the post it’s quite exciting know that potentially another day could mean another letter, it’s becoming a little bit of a small romanticised obsession but I don’t care i’m enjoying it, it’s a lot of fun.

The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

I completely forgot how good this game was, yes graphically it’s out of date, but as far as story with a bit of freedom in the in game world and a challenging game to complete, this game has that. By comparison i’m also playing Space marine on the 360, although it is a good game with an enjoyable story, it is a very linear story and there isn’t much interaction within the game world apart from picking up ammunition and the usual exploding red barrel, not that its a bad game because of that, just that you would have thought that with the improvements made in game design the developers could afford to be a bit more imaginative with what they can do with their games. Anyway I’m really enjoying playing Ocarina of Time it has got to be one of my all time favourite games and I never enjoyed a game as much as ocarina of time

  • dub-step
  • heavy metal
  • people who feel the need to do jobs around the house during the weekend
  • religious people who border on the fanatic
  • “fandoms” on tumblr
  • why people like Justin bieber or 1 direction
  • why groups of people who clearly aren’t prostitutes feel the need to hang around street corners at night
  • why going out is better than staying in

i think that’s it and other people wonder why i’m introverted when i have to put up with this from other people
